Appearance GTK portals

Hello everyone,

I tried using a flatpak app the other day and it was effectively not usable because it wasn't getting the correct theme from... "gtk portals"?

This effectively makes flatpaks not "technically broken" but such a UX nightmare to use that they are effectively not usable.

The picture I shared is from a different app, I'm assuming it's the same issue, I'm sharing because it may contain helpful information.

This looks like the project that is supposed to make it work for xfce?

And apparently it's not possible to resolve this without xfce support?

I know nothing about how any of it works, but I'm willing to learn and work on a solution if you can point me in the right direction.
