Programs don't start at startup using checkboxes from the programs themselves
I can make programs start at startup through the XFCE interface when using XFCE, but I've noticed some programs don't autostart when using the program's interface. 2 examples I've found are Barrier and Discord. They each have a checkbox to start at startup, but when I use XFCE, they don't start. I have to manually add them to the Application Autostart tab of xfce4-session, and this won't be obvious for many users.
Not sure if this is XFCE's fault or the fault of the multiple programs, because I don't know how most programs implement their autostart behaviour. Since it's happening with multiple programs I thought I'd report it here.
I already reported a bug for Barrier: https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/issues/1859
