Running Gentoo on a Thinkpad, xfce4-pm is configured to enter suspend when I close the lid (both when on battery and plugged in). With 4.19.2 everything works fine and as expected. After a recent update to 4.19.3 & restarting X/xfce4-pm, closing the lid no longer enters suspend; I see elogind's "Lid closed" message in dmesg, but the system can still be pinged and the Thinkpad LED is not fading in/out, but always-on. There are no error messages anywhere - just "Lid closed" followed by "Lid opened" and no suspend in between. Ironically "Suspend when idle" *did* suspend the system because somehow its default value changed after the update, which was confusing until I disabled the setting again. Downgrading to 4.19.2 immediately restores the expected behaviour.
