xfce4-power-manager-settings segfaults in g_type_check_instance due to upower's untimely auto removing USB UPS (maybe)

Description
I'm on ArchLinux, when I plug in the Eaton 5E UPS via its USB cable I get some regular messages on dmesg
like the following(3 consecutive groups of messages pasted):
