Can't/won't suspend because can't lock screen because screen is locked
- Lock screen
- Let computer sit there until "System sleep mode" "When inactive for" timer expires
- Unlock screensaver
- Find such informative and useful message about screensaver can't be activated, can't lock screen, are you sure you want to suspend system or not, Yes/No
The obvious result is of course that if the battery runs out in that situation then the machine will just power off - possibly causing data loss.
That r u sure u want to suspend since power manager can't lock the screen since it's already locked yes no question will likely go unanswered in most cases since it's not visible until the screen is unlocked. idk if screensavers in general, and xfce's screensaver in particular, informs dbus or something else that the screen is actually locked. if that's a feature that's already in place then xfce's power manager should use it and not refuse to take action if an already locked screen can't be locked since it's already locked.
