Screen not waking up from blank after 4.18.4 update

Hi, after updating to 4.18.4 in Arch Linux, and booting up the PC today (Meaning it was fine yesterday with 4.18.3), after the screen goes into blank (or sleep or switch off, which I have set up in 1 minute increments after blank comes in at 5 min.)... the system will not wake up the screen, there are no related kernel/amdgpu updates either (6.9.3.arch1-1 installed on June 1st).

I just checked my update log, and it seems xfce4-power-manager is the most probable culprit (there is also xfce4-session and xfce4-settings, at the same time, please advise!), but would appreciate any help in debugging this for helping Xfce.

To recover I ctrl+alt+f2 to open another terminal, then restart lightdm, to reload Xfce, it is the only way. I have disabled screen blanking for now.
