lid closed no action option missing

i am using arch linux and on a laptop with external monitor. i like to close the laptop while working with mouse keyboard and an external monitor.

currently there is no 'no action' option in xfce for the 'lid closed' action.

means when i close the lid my external monitor goes off too. what a pitty. please help.
