Power manager inhibit screen should show what applications are inhibiting suspend
Sometimes when I try to suspend my device, without realizing that an inhibitor is running, XFCE's power manager always shows me a very suspenseful message which basically says that "something" is inhibiting suspend and that it could be dangerous to continue.
Sometimes, this is just Brave playing music from YouTube, or it could be Caffeine running in the background. In any case, it would be nice to be able to see what application(s) is actually doing the inhibiting.
Yesterday, I discovered I can use the following dbus command to find out what is the application's name is:
dbus-send --dest=org.freedesktop.PowerManagement --print-reply=literal /org/freedesktop/PowerManagement/Inhibit org.freedesktop.PowerManagement.Inhibit.GetInhibitors
However, it would be better if the power manager actually does this from the onset, rather than presenting one with an ominous message about potential failures, which often turn out to simply be exaggerations when one comes to find out that its just Caffeine or Chrome running.
Thanks
