Applications menu symbolic icons not recoloring
When setting the icon to a symbolic one, it doesn't recolor to the theme's colors. When searching icons, the symbolic names are actually hidden, so you have to use xfconf to set it.
Steps to reproduce:
- Use adwaita-xfce icon theme
- Use xfconf to set
button-icon=start-here-symbolic(easiest way to do with GUI: firstly change the icon in the plugin's setting to something different than the default, then you can use xfce4-settings-editor, select channel xfce4-panel and search forbutton-icon) - Change gtk theme between Adwaita and Adwaita-dark. Notice the icon is always black, making it invisible with dark themes.
For comparison, you can also add whiskermenu to the panel and also set it's icon to start-here-symbolic. You will notice that there, the icon gets recolored, matching the text color.
Screenshot of gtk theme Adwaita-dark with Applications menu next to Whiskermenu. The icon of Applications menu is not visible.

Same poor visibility in the properties, icon does not recolor.
