Feature Request: Having "Recent Files" on taskbar

KDE currently has this feature:

Where if you right click on the application on the taskbar it would show "Recent Files" feature. It would make it much easier to navigate and get to files on xfce.

This feature doesn't have to be enabled by default but I was hoping it could be given as an option to users.

Reason why I am reluctant to move to KDE is cause I want a lightweight DE and KDE is not one of them.
