Cannot switch multi-row-workspaces vertically via keyboard-shortcut unless chosen "miniature-preview"

Description

When I have virtual workspaces in several rows, e.g. 2x2, and my workspace-switcher-plugin on my panel is set to show the names of the workspaces, not the miniature-preview (sorry, don't know exact english term), this bug happens: Though the workspace-switcher-panelplugin shows the workspaces in the correct way (2x2), I can not switch them correctly via keyboard-shortcut. I can not go <UP> and <DOWN>, but only <LEFT> and <RIGHT>, as if the four workspaces were all arranged in a single line.

This happens everytime I reboot my PC. If I then rightclick the panelplugin, select and immediately deselect "show miniature-preview", from then on it works like it should.
