Duplicate entries with statustray plugin

The network icon appears twice on the panel.

When logging out and logging in again, only the symbolic icon is correctly displayed.

I'm using Xubuntu 20.10, Xfce 4.16 and xfce4-panel (4.16.0), packages from Xubuntu QA Staging PPA.
