Panel transparency broken in 4.16 [on panel creation]

Hi,

First : thank you for the work on 4.16 !

I've noticed an issue with panel though, using 4.16.0-1 on Archlinux.

When setting a panel transparency

  • either with solid color set to transparent
  • or using a transparent image

the panel does not act as expected. It displays weird mix of old color wit blurred effect, but not transparent at all. On mousehover some part of the panel get transparent, but not the separators for instance.

I tried other png or colors : it works. Issue seems limited to transparency.

I'm using Xorg, hardware is intel i915

My panel has

  • whiskermenu
  • windowmenu
  • clock
  • clipman
  • systray
  • some extended separators in between

If I can help / give more detail / try something, just let me know !

regards
