I cannot directly minimize a single window **App1-w1** on **workspace1** anymore after I opened another window **App1-w2** on **workspace2**. Instead, the usual window group popup (that lets you select the window out of the group) appears with just one item _App1-w1_ in the list. Clicking on this one does the job, though.
Is this intended behavior and, if so, would it be possible to treat window groups independently on different workspaces?
Or maybe there already is some option for it that I did not discover yet?

If the Mousepad window is active, I can scroll _up_ to reach one of the Thunar windows, but not the second one.

I experience strange issue with Xfce4-4.18.0.
xfce4-panel starts and works fine until I try starting Telegram client.
After that panel immediately crashes on segfault.
I tried rebuilding xfce4-panel with debug info (I am under Gentoo).
However, the issue happens only inside 3d-party libs. See below.

I logged in on a new user to xfce session. Then i deleted ".config/xfce4" and replaced it with folder copied from another user. I logged out and logged in and panel settings didn't take effect, it was still using previous settings, with exception that some application launchers on panel had generic icons. However after system restart new settings work correctly.
I was trying to understand the reason for this behaviour. One explanation i could think of was that the file cache is using older version of file. I attempted to empty file cache with following commands:
sync ,
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_cache ,
echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_cache ,
echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_cache ,
however it didn't make any difference. I also deleted .cache folder, and closed all processes of the user that were still running after logout. It still didn't change the behaviour of xfce4-panel. What is the explanation for this behaviour? How is xfce caching settings?https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/-/issues/686xfce 4.18 CALENDAR week numbers2023-07-16T14:51:57ZDavid Scottxfce 4.18 CALENDAR week numbersWith orage it was easy to disable week numbers. One issue I noticed since the previous Xfce release, and probably related to !101, is that the clock widget now displays the date and the time on top of each other, with a tiny font, so they're kinda hard to read. In 4.16, the time would be shown after the date, horizontally.
In other words:
- 4.16: `date, time`
- 4.18: `date \n time`
Here are a couple of pictures to make this more clear:
![4.16](/uploads/f478efeff55cf63a10357595f96bc85a/image.png "4.16")
![4.18](/uploads/5ea1c58abdf6d8e6967953821ef2485b/image.png "4.18")
Is it possible to restore the previous format?

The keyboard cursor is first still blinking but disappears after a first mouse click. From hereafter there is no visible response to mouse or keyboard actions beside mouse pointer movement. Alt+F4 or Alt-tab or the keys to switch desktops all do nothing.
This launcher bug has been there a while - a few years. I never found anything reported or a solution, so it could be a local config issue.
A crash-landing solution is Ctrl+Alt+F2, and after login:
```
pidof xfce4-session | xargs -r kill -9 && startxfce4
````
BTW, I always run `startxfce4` from the terminal console user login.
When I haven't killed my session yet, I see an App launcher in my `ps aux`, which I suspect, but even a kill -9 just renders it defunct (ps aux), without returning my desktop on Ctrl+Alt+F1. Maybe the underlying cause is that gvim always spawns? The App launcher might get zombified as a process?
There might be a better session saving --reset, but it is not any of these:
```bash
xfwm4 --replace --display=:0.0
xfce4-app-finder --quit --display=:0.0
xfce4-app-finder --replace --display=:0.0
xfce4-panel --restart --display=:0.0
xfce4-panel --quit --display=:0.0
```
Running any of these (except one of the --quit commands) just seem to hang.
There doesn't seem any suspicious logs in my `journalctl -xb` regarding this, (syslog messages since boot).

I am not using the labels and at the moment it looks like this on my system:

I find it very annoying to work with because they are so close to each other.
I have actually spent some time trying to find a solution for this (checking the plugin settings, editing gtk css and even trying to edit the C source code directly), to no avail. Unfortunately I also don't have much knowledge of css or gtk, but if you know that it can be done and it isn't too complicated let me know where I need to look and I will try.
Using **XFCE 4.16**https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/-/issues/678systray: Some(?) icons no longer scaled for HiDPI2023-06-11T14:33:37Zsfan5systray: Some(?) icons no longer scaled for HiDPII have a HiDPI setup with 2x scaling and since the update to 4.18 the systray icon for Slack Desktop (didn't notice this with any other application) is no longer scaled correctly. This used to work.

- configure the tasklist to only show windows on the current workspace

- the window is still visible in the tasklist. You need to switch workspace and come back for the window to disappear from the tasklist.
This issue is a regression due to commit https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/-/commit/d3cfa2742d373452e51f240291ad7651c629e5d8 (#207). It was working fine before v4.17.3. Not calling `xfce_tasklist_active_workspace_changed()` may be the cause.4.17.4https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/-/issues/672Panel transparency not working since 4.182023-03-01T14:36:10ZGuy BPanel transparency not working since 4.18Hello,
Since 4.18 version it's not possible to set the panel to transparent even if the alpha slider is set to left in plain color option. It stays black.

Version 3.36.0-1 is already installed on my system.
Why is an old library needed?
And how can I solve this?
