Right-clicking blocks the first left-click for about 1 second in certain scenarios.
## Submitted by jazztickets Assigned to **Xfce Bug Triage** **[Link to original bug (#15892)](https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15892)** ## Description Created attachment 8961 shows where the cursor is when left-clicking 1. Open Thunar and right-click somewhere in the main window that's not on a file/directory. 2. Immediately move your mouse outside the range of the new pop-up window. 3. Click the left mouse button anywhere in Thunar. 4. Notice how clicking did not close the context menu. There are 3 things i've noticed: 1. If you quickly double click outside of the context menu, the context menu disappears 2. If you wait about 1 second after right-clicking, left click will close the context menu. It's as if there's a 1 second window where left clicking gets swallowed. 3. Moving your mouse around the context menu after right-clicking (e.g. highlighting Create Folder), then clicking the main window correctly closes the context menu the first time. If you right-click a file or directory, then left click somewhere in the whitespace, the correct behavior is observed. This bug is new to Thunar 1.8.9. Tested on Arch Linux. **Attachment 8961**, "shows where the cursor is when left-clicking": ![thunar](/uploads/07c4088c213817b5e9514d1cc2431388/thunar.png) Version: 1.8.9
