Trash icon in Thunar doesn't update after removing a file

When I remove a file using Thunar, the trash icon isn't updated, and it appears as if the trash is empty. It gets put in ~/.local/share/Trash/files, but the icon isn't updated, and I have to go manually and delete the file. When Thunar's restarted (and the trash isn't empty), it show the trash as full and can delete the files as normal, but after I delete them Thunar still shows as if it was full.*

The desktop version of the trash icon isn't affected and works as normal.
