New folder is created in subfolder

Steps to reproduce:

Open Thunar

Navigate to a dir

Navigate down 1 more subdir (this is Location A)

Navigate back up using (^) icon (next to Home icon/button)

CTRL+SHIFT+N (new folder)

Enter a name

Hit "Enter" key

Folder does not appear in current dir

Navigate to previously accesses subdir (Location A)
