Feature request: let Thunar work together with xfce4-places-plugin

When I open a document with "featherpad" and close it, then this document is available in "Recent Documents" of the xfce4-places-plugin (https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-places-plugin) after.

When I open a document by double clicking it in thunar, then also "featherpad" opens this document, but after the close, this document will not appear in the list "Recent Documents" of the xfce4-places-plugin.

This is not only with featherpad. I guess this is with all programs. I have tested writer, nomacs, qpdfview.

Please: Let thunar work together with the "recent documents- function" of "xfce4-places-plugin".
