Description

On Launchpad: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+question/674670

Steps to reproduce:

  • Export a reply to an email using e.g. Thunderbird. Use the default filename e.g. "Re: A quick message.eml"
  • Attempt to move this file to an SMB share using Thunar (file manager)

What happened:

  • Error message "No such file or directory, do you want to skip it?" appears.

What I expected to happen:

  • Operation to succeed, or an error message explaining that colons are not allowed in filenames on SMB shares.
