Thunar Failed to set the tree-view cursor in less than 5 seconds. Aborting the operation. This is with Thunar's side pane on tree, Thunar either hangs and opens the folder or crashes.

This is Thunar 4.21.5-dev on Slackware current > This is strictly my implementation not Slackware's

Current behavior

1. Put Thunar's side pane on tree and attempt to open a directory and it hangs for minutes then the directory opens or it just crashes.

Expected outcome

to use Thunar with treeview with no errors or crashes.
