Please add a preference in Thunar to turn off the tooltips for the Side Pane.
(There was no "feature request" type to pick, so I guess this is an "Issue"?)
I get annoyed daily when the "tooltips" pop up as I hover the mouse cursor over the Side Pane in Thunar. All they display is the "full path" to the item, which is never needed by me and always very distracting.
There is no Thunar GUI preference to turn it off, and apparently no hidden config file directive either.
I've asked and searched a lot to find a workaround, but the only way is to add a ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css rule to turn off tooltips completely. Unfortunately, that also turns off the tooltips on webpages inside Firefox, which I depend heavily on. Also, I don't want to turn off tooltips completely even in the Xfce GUI -- only this specific thing in Thunar (and the "Show Desktop" taskbar plugin, but I will make a separate issue for that).
Please add some way to turn those specific tooltips off.
(I really think it even should be disabled by default, but I don't try to convince anyone that the defaults are bad anymore as long as they can be changed by the user.)
