External Volume Problem

Since upgrading to Thunar 4.20.5 I have had problems with loading and ejecting external volumes.

I actually encountered the problem when testing the unstable release so I rolled back to the stable 4.20.4 and the problem went away.

Now that manjaro has pushed out 4.20.5 the problem has returned. I have a number of external USB hard drives. When I plug one in the throbber spins forever and it is luck if the contents are actually displayed.

Similarly, ejecting a volume seems to time out. I don't recall seeing anything in the release info regarding fixes for mounting and unmounting volumes so maybe it is just my machine. Regardless, 4.20.5 is unusable for me if I want to mount external drives.
