feature request More info when copying multiple files

Version information

4.20.01 Void Linux

When copying a single file, or a lot of big files, there is no information if anything is going on, till the single file is copied. It looks like nothing is going on, or like program has hanged.

Could you add some info on progress, like another line on top of the progress line, that would display single file progress, like in say mc?

  • or animate those copy dots (...), or use - \ | / characters to create rotating line animation? (that would stop if you click on pause or stop)
  • or another line behind it, that would display single file progress
  • or maybe percentage next to the file, like filename.ext (58%)
  • files copied/total number of files (Copying file 2 of 50)
  • copy speed (useful when copying to remote site)
  • or add roll up part of the form, to hide/show that additional information, or use settings to enable additional information?

speed:
