File not always visible when file is created and quickly renamed

Version information

Thunar 4.20.3, Manjaro

Steps to reproduce

touch a && mv a a.bin or dd if=/dev/urandom of=a bs=1k count=1 && mv a a.bin

Current behavior

Created file is not visible, I need to press the refresh key (in most cases, otherwise delete the file and try again).

Expected outcome

Created file is visible with correct size and attributes.
