Slow double click to rename files

More of a feature that is offered with file managers that support inline renaming, so this might not be worth adding.
Would anyone see any benefit of offering a setting (that could be turned on/off) that would allow a slow double click on a file to open up the rename dialog box (the dialog shown when hitting F2 key).
