Adding option to pin or lock the position of the Date Format
Version information
4.18.8
Xubuntu 24.04
Steps to reproduce
- Open Thunar
- Go to Edit, Preferences
- Select your prefered option for the Date format
- Set Thunar to the List view either with mouse or CTRL-2
- Use the mouse cursor and move the Date format to the left
Current behavior
When you move the position of the Date format from the default far right side and open a new tab or close and reopen Thunar the Date format defaults back to the far right side of the screen.
Expected outcome
The position of the Date format should stay at the position where you moved it. In my case I moved it to be closer to the center of the screen.
Additional information
Can you add a pin or lock button to hold the position of the Date format where you set it to be instead of always looking to the far right of the screen to see the details of your files or folders it would be better if you can place it to be closer to the content. It would then stay like that until you decide to unlock or unpin it and move it or let it revert to how it was by default.
