Alternative app icon

The Thunar app icon is very nice. This I don't want to doubt, but for me (and maybe many others) the app icon of a file explorer should resemble a folder or cabinet. This confuses me and I can't use icon themes, which use the default icon. So would it be not too much to ask for an alternative icon? Maybe the hammer painted on a folder to satisfy the hammer fans too.
