Add setting to prevent buttons style location bar from showing previous subfolders

I apologize if this exists somewhere already.
Suggesting maybe can add a setting that would prevent "Buttons Sytle" location bar from still showing the previous location when backing out of subfolders.

Example:
If you go into subfolders
~/Downloads/one/two/three
and then back out to
~/Downloads/
the buttons style location bar will still show
~/Downloads/one/two/three
just the highlight is on "Downloads"

Sometimes this feature is handy and I really like it but sometimes it can be kind of confusing, especially if theme does not have an obvious highlight color used in the location bar.
