Drag drop address bar path to terminal does not work

Version information

thunar 4.18.8 (Xfce 4.18) Linux Mint 21.3

Steps to reproduce

1. open thunar
2. select the current path from address bar
3. open terminal
4. left-click with mouse to drag to terminal
5. see that the path is being dragged
6. drop the path into the terminal
7. the path is not seen in the terminal

Current behavior

no path in the terminal
