Ability to stop search tool but keep results

If you use Ctrl+F to perform a search in Thunar in a folder that contains many folders/files, the search tool may take a long time to finish with its results. At times I end up getting the search result that I want which show up on screen, but I notice that I do not have full access to this item because the search is still continuing. I have to wait for the search to finish in order to have access to this item. For example in the search results if you try accessing a file/folders context menu, you will notice that actions are grayed out until search is complete. Can test this by trying to do a search in your root file system where there are many folders / files. I am using an SSD so if other users are using something like NVMe to test this then might not notice an issue?

Suggesting to maybe add a way to stop the search but still keep the search results found before the search was stopped.
