File modification does not update the modification timestamp

I'm not sure if that's Thunar's or other file system component's issue, but with recent builds I notice that file attributes like size and modification time don't update immediately.

It's especially confusing if I copy/rewrite a file with a more recent version, but the dialog window shows that I'm trying to rewrite it with some old version (which is not true).

Also if the files are sorted by modification time, a file gets updated but stays in its old place, so I don't see correctly which is newer.

This condition doesn't stay for long, and I always can press Ctrl-R, but still it shouldn't be like this.
