Thunar crashes and does not start again after switching the left pane to tree view

Hi all,

in Thunar, I switched the left pane to tree view. Thunar did freeze, any restarts fail, also after a "killall thunar".

Message on restart is: "(thunar:181449): GVFS-WARNING **: 11:56:13.769: The peer-to-peer connection failed: Timeout was reached. Falling back to the session bus. Your application is probably missing --filesystem=xdg-run/gvfsd privileges."

I did delete in thunar.xml the line

but Thunar still didn't restart. Deleting thunar.xml compeletly didn't do the trick either.
