Copy and Paste sometimes deselects files

When copying multiple files, sometimes when hitting Copy or Ctrl+C, some files will deselect.

When pasting multiple files, sometimes not all files pasted will become selected.

Both copy and paste deselect issues happen in Icon and Compact view. I can't seem to get the copy deselect to happen in List view, but I can get the paste deselect to happen in List view (though it does seem to happen much less often in List view).

Reproduce:

1. Create a new folder
2. In this folder, create a file or two
3. Select all
4. Copy
5. Paste

Repeat steps 3-5 (Select All, Copy, Paste) and usually after a few you will see a file deselect when copying, and less than all files selected when pasting.

The issue seems to grow once it starts happening and multiple files will deselect.

The copy deselect issue doesn't seem like a big deal as it's mostly cosmetic, the do all seem to copy despite deselecting.

The paste deselect issue can potentially cause file/folder mismanagement, if those selected files are further moved, sent, deleted, etc some will be left behind, not sent, etc.

Tested using 4.18.0git-78a83fc3 as well as Xubuntu 22.10 Live which is using Thunar 4.17.9
