garcon 4.16.0 pkexec menu entry issue

Any menu entry with pkexec does not execute from the garcon menu. Version 0.6.4 works OK.

example: Exec=pkexec thunar /root

However the same command works from a terminal. Is there something else I need to do with garcon to make this work from the menu entry?
