Thunar closes after archive is created

Current behavior

Does not happen all the time, not sure what causes this when it does, but I have noticed that on occasion that if I create a zip archive using the context menu "Create Archive..." that when the archive creation completes Thunar closes completely right after.
When I restart Thunar again the archive file is there, I usually delete it and create it again because I do not trust that the archive is not corrupt. When I create the archive again it seems to work fine and Thunar stays open.
The only other thing I have noticed is that this often occurs when trying to create archives of downloaded Git source code, which typically contain many folders and files, do not recall if this has ever happened when creating simpler archives containing only a couple of files for example.
Not sure if anyone else has ever noticed any behavior like this, or if this was ever corrected in a newer release?
I plan on testing 4.20 soon so I will mention if I notice anything in that newer version.
