Don't highlight matching brackets
Okay so the Undo logic is fairly intuitive in that it's good at assessing what comprises a set of keyboard inputs that can be grouped and "Undone together", but....
I'm thinking three Undo operations is the what we should allow in Notes, no more no less. Keep it simple. I've seen programs in the wild that have survived generations with 3 Undos.
Hi,
I've switched from Fedora 39 to Fedora Rawhide (for testing purposes) and detected that the Vala Binding provided with Fedora Rawhide has issues with Gtk.MenuShell.append. I had to manually go through two files (the generated .c files) in the lib directory and had to set explicit casts there to get the plugin compiled again.
May I ask the maintainer of the notes plugin to have a review to my patch. I am sure the changes have to appear within the vala files so they properly generate correct *.c files.
Please note that on Fedora 39 everything is perfectly fine.
Rawhide: libvala-0.56.14-1.fc40.x86_64 vala-0.56.14-1.fc40.x86_64

Thank you.
Ver 1.9.0 seems to abruptly scroll to the top when a user does an Undo, but they should be scrolled to the position of the Undo, not necessarily to the top.

Most of the issues should be fixed in xfce4-notes-plugin-1.11.0
Only Ctrl-F feature is missing now.
#21 seems to be abandoned, I create a new one.
I have issue with remembering size and position on Xubuntu 20.04, Xfce 4.14, notes 1.8.1.
xfce4-notes.gtkrc and panel/xfce4-notes-plugin-14.rc files exist, but when notes settings or position changed files not updated. After logout notes are at screen center.

Same situation here on Ubuntu Studio 20.04, Xfce 4.14, notes 1.8. I see the rc and gtkrc files. On startup, SOME of the notes windows are displayed in their remembered positions, but others are stacked up in the center of the display. Annoying as all get-out.
