xfce4-xkb-plugin in the system notification area

Description

my orientation of xfce panel is on a left side - vertical (as I have wide screen). My panel width is 52px. However when adding Xfce4-xkb-plugin to it, it looks too big.

What I'd love to see would be an option to have currently shown keyboard layout displayed in the system notification area (where icon size is adapted automatically - globally for all the shown icons).

Either to move it to notification area permanently or adding some toggle option for this plugin would help - show/don't show in system notification area.

I think that is the common way it works also in other display environments (gnome, kde,...).
