I suppose the purpose of this plugin is not to hide the window buttons, correct? But could be very useful. This extension is able to hide the buttons for most applications (gtk or qt) https://github.com/hardpixel/unite-shell . Maybe can offer a solution/feature for this.
Here's yet another idea. Hide the buttons by default by showing the window's name. And on hover you display the window buttons. This way the buttons are no shown at all in cases as above, and it looks a lot lot better. Similar to this https://ytb.trom.tf/watch?v=Tqt9iotv7y8
Yes but what I wanted is when the window is maximized to hide the window buttons. I guess I got this wrong because of the way I have it setup. I have a top panel and setup this plugin to only show the window buttons when the window is maximized + i setup the XFCE windows to hide the top bar when maximized. This way I can achieve a Unity like look where the window looks as part of the top bar.
But the CSD windows look a bit off because you can still see the window buttons on the window itself....
I thought there is a way to hide them via this plugin....
I think it makes sense to have the ability to hide the window buttons for when windows are maximized....inside the plugin itself. Will this be a massive work?
