I have a secondary system that the whiskermenu (2.4.6) hasn't been updated yet which is not effected and displays them in the correct order. this only effects the directories (system, settings, accessories, etc..) not the menu items themselves (Firefox, Telegram, WICD, etc..). When I first started using alacarte several years ago, I had a similar issue that ended up being caused by incorrect permissions, but have checked and all are as they were. Any help would be greatly appreciated.![Screenshot](/uploads/eb75907534ef51c6c0fce7170b34123b/Screenshot.png)https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin/-/issues/38[Feature Request] Adaptive search2023-11-04T18:14:06ZTomas Chrastina[Feature Request] Adaptive searchIt would be beneficial, to have an option to use adaptive search.

Like **calc** = LibreOffice **Calc** / MATE **Calc**ulator.
I'd like to remember my manual change of preference.
I mean when I search using keyword `calc`, then use arrow to select **MATE Calculator** rather than LibreOffice Calc, and confirm it with enter (it's second in result list), remember it, and next time put it first.
I know I can use launchers like Kupfer, .... But it would be really great to be able to use it in what we already have rather than adding another application just for it.

## Description
Hello!
So, I flashed Linux Mint 19.3 XFCE on my USB Stick, thought I'd give it a shot.
However, the corner that's used to resize the menu at the top right of the menu irritated me so much. So I was wondering if I could just resize it the way I want, and then lock its size so that I can't resize it the normal way (from the menu itself) anymore, so that the size of it becomes locked and the resizing icon disappears.
Thank you in advance!
Regards,
