Weather plugin loses Scrollbox settings between sessions

I have Xfce installed on both Fedora 40 and Fedora Rawhide and with both, the weather plugin loses the Scrollbox settings between sessions.

Temperature (Fahrenheit), Wind Speed (MPH) and Wind Direction (in that order) were in those settings.

It is intermittent. They're added back in when they are lost and remain until the next time it occurs.

Fedora 40 package version: 0.11.2-1.fc40

Manually I presume!? Or you're saying that they come back by themselves (eg. after a reboot, panel restart etc)?

When the settings are lost, they are manually added back in each time. On a logout, the 'Save session...' checkbox is checked.

In Issue #59 - 'ticker' isn't defined, so I can't say for certain that this is related or a duplicate.

Probably the same bug, but the settings involved are different, so let's keep both reports open.

Caught it again finally...
It doesn't seem to be a problem with reading, but in fact losing the Scrollbox/ticker label(s) setting completely:

Property "/plugins/plugin-19/labels/label0" does not exist on channel "xfce4-panel".

Adding the setting back with xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /plugins/plugin-19/labels/label0 -n -t int -s 3 and restarting the panel doesn't work, the property in xfconf gets lost/removed again. On the other hand, quitting the panel, adding the setting and starting the panel back up does work as expected.

Uninformed long shot --> perhaps a panel issue (eg. it kills the plugins too quickly on exit)!?

Anyway, clues as to how to debug further/properly are welcome. Meanwhile, I'll try running with PANEL_DEBUG=1 and report if anything useful comes back (unless PANEL_DEBUG=external is better here??)
