Icon padding issue in xfce panel

The icon for xfce4-weather-plugin has no padding on the left and right sides as compared with other icons in the xfce panel:

To further highlight the padding, I have compared it with other icons in the xfce panel below:

Tested on xfce 4.18 using version 0.11.0 of xfce4-weather-plugin on endeavouros.
