RFE: vertical size on vertical panels

Hello,

I have a usability problem (or an enhancement request): On a vertical panel, the timer is too small vertically, and to click on it requires quite precise pixel hunting. Could it be made (possibly as a configration option) taller on vertical panels?

This is xfce4-timer-plugin-1.7.1-4.fc34.x86_64 on Fedora 34. Thanks!
