multimedia keys behaviour changes when upgrading to 4.7 on archlinux

Problem: After updating to v4.7 using pacman -Syu behaviour of multimedia key play/pause changes.

How it worked before (v4.6): When pressed it would impact every application across current session. In browser it would work on all tabs simultaneously allowing to disable background music playing in different tab.

How it works now: Only affects last opened application regardless of what window has focus. In browser only works in current tab forcing to manually change tab, stop music and change tab again to proceed to consume other content.

Why it matters: Cannot disable background sound sources (e.g. music) if it is not last opened application or last opened tab (in browser).
