Feature: Add option to disable volume change via mouse scroll when hovering plugin's panel icon

Could an option be added to disable changing of the audio volume by scrolling while the cursor is hovering the "closed" plugin (its panel icon)?

Reason: I sometimes accidentally change volume when I want to switch workspaces or when I'm scrolling some application near the bottom of the screen (i.e. near the panel).
