The close button looks nothing like the one on the apps page. looks very very very very narrow

The (X) looks very very very very narrow. and the user has to click it like 20 times to close it. It gets much much worse on small screens. This reminds me of GTK apps with razor thin borders that take an hour to drag with the mouse. Is this all on purpose? Lazy? Retarded dev? Ever going to get fixed? Switch to KDE? Been this way for years on all distros? Really?
