SSL security problems: the plugin doesn't check the hostname and expired time of the certificate

Description

Hi guys,

Recently, our group are trying to find ssl security problems by static anlysis. Now we have find some problems in xface4-mailwatch-plugin 1.2.0-1 in ubuntu 12.04 and report this bugs to the launchpad, but I haven't receive any responses.
