Feature request: Change middle mouse button behavior

Currently, the middle mouse button closes the complete group.

Windows users are used to opening new windows with this action, so this causes mayor problems when these users do not pay attention. Therefore it's desireable to be able to change the middle mouse button behavior to "launch another window" instead.
