Time changes move all other objects in the panel
When the desktop uses a non monospaced font, the time changes in the datetime plugin will affect the space available in the panel, making all other objects in the panel to move along the changes in time.
It's easier to see it if the time is set to show the seconds.
It's a minor issue but it's kinda distracting because I'm always thinking there's a new notification or something alerting me in the panel, but it's just the seconds changing the overall space available of the panel, making all objects there to keep dancing in the panel back and forth constantly.
I could just disable the seconds from the clock and it would be less noticeable, but I really like the clock with seconds, I think it gives me a better sense of time passing... sorry =P
Steps to reproduce (I'm using the default panel of Kali Linux with some windows opened, see picture attached)
- Add the plugin in the panel side-by-side with windows buttons for example
- Open lots of windows
- try to fill the panel with some other plugins to make it full
- Set the clock to show hours (24h format), minutes and seconds
- Watch the objects in the panel moving right to left and vice-versa along with the numbers of seconds
