freezes when deactivating cores in ubuntu 23.10

in Ubuntu 23.04 when deactivating CPU cores the bar usually goes to 0% but now after the upgrade to 23.10 they just freezes and the "history" one shows the same values continuously

(4 of 16 threads are active)

when reloading it only shows 4 bars, same as befor

is it maybe somthing on my side or is it the plugin itself?
