Copy - Paste problem with version 1.6.4 in FreeCAD

After update to clipman 1.6.4, copy-paste in FreeCAD doesn't work if clipman's history is not empty. If i empty history, then FreeCAD's copy-paste works again until i copy any text, and clipman's history is not empty anymore.

I downgraded to 1.6.3, and all works fine.

I'm not an experienced developer, but at least i tried to spot in which commit the problem appears. I compiled and tried several commits between 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 version and it seems that the problem occurs at commit eab4beaca2584010616439e2d83808bb965f3e8a

Thanks for reporting and the git bisect.

It's not clear to me what kind of copy-paste operation this is. Text, geometric patterns? For text it seems to work for me, for patterns I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, I'm not familiar with FreeCAD. Could you elaborate, maybe provide some screenshots?

Copy of text works, copy of objects doesn't.

Reproduce

-. Open FreeCAD

1. Goto Part Workbench (Step 1)
2. Click cube to create a cube (step 2)
3. Select newly created cube with left click (step 3)
4. Copy it using toolbar icon or Edit->Copy (step 4)
5. Try to paste it (it doesn't work)
6. Empty clipman's history
7. Start again from step 3 and copy-paste should work

Ah ok, I couldn't see where pasting took place. I can reproduce the bug now, thanks.

Fixed. I'm not sure when 1.6.5 will be released, but you should be able to use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xfce4-clipman-plugin-git in the meantime if you want.
